What made you

Personally I had a bad marraige, I was broke with children to support and not a penny coming from the ex. My choice was to go in at the bottom of the ladder whilst I updated my skills which were now way out of date thanks to advancing technology whilst being paid a pittance or find a way to earn decent money from the get go. Then someone let me in on the little secret that you dont have to stand in a dark alley to do this job but could actually work in a nice warm apartment called a parlour...so I gave it a go. Do I regret it...not for a second.

I discovered almost 6 years ago that I can be paid instead of having free sex :) I have a pretty high sex drive and this suits me perfect as I don't want a permanent relationship. Too much hassle to have one ;) In a way, I have a male mentality me thinks :drinks:
I have not had a partner whilst doing this job either. It just would bring never ending conudrums. Are you honest from the start with them about what you do but as you dont know them that well risk them reacting badly and telling everyone or do you keep it a secret till you know you can trust them then tell them but at which point, to me, its too late as it means your entire relationship up to that point has been based on lies. Too complicated and too much risk of one of us getting hurt and Im a shite liar anyway, if you love them you are hurting them or you are giving them a way to hurt you if they are totally disgusted and filled with moral outrage. No..single life for me whilst doing this

I started this when I was medically retired from the NHS. I knew I needed a job where I could just no go if I felt unwell and not many jobs allow that so this one seemed perfect for me. Do I regret it? Well I regret having to leave my job but I don't regret doing this at all as it keeps me sane as I would go crazy stuck at home day after day

Exploring. .after being with my ex husband since 17 I started with swinging as didn't want a man in my life ...it was amazing ...opened up my desires to explore via fabswingers. ..

On one of my Wednesday lunch time visits lol a gentleman asked me while I was fully dressed to follow him to a locked room to spank him ..never tied it so I did ...he was very happy with the outcum. .lol and explained that he paid very highly for this pleasure. ..and told me about adult work...

Took me a year to join and get the nerve to meet ..now it's all part of the experience the connection excitement of meeting a man the first kiss touch ..

The rest is history. .a client friend told me about this site so I'm hoping for more exciting filthy fun xx

I got into escorting through the job centre about 10 years ago.
My only regret is not saving my money, I've lived a nice life and had plenty of holidays and was able to provide for my daughter but when I stopped escorting I had nothing to show for it, Luckily for me I had a good job to go into after escorting then I opened agency 6 month ago with my sister.
So now when we take girls on I try to tell them not to waste their money as they cant do escorting forever and do courses whilst escorting so they have something to fall back on when they stop escorting. xx

Official job. I should still have the piece of paper that comes out the machine xx
It was an automated system?! I can't imagine what information could have been demanded by it to determine that you should become a sex worker...
"How is your gag reflex?", "Do you like the taste of semen?", "Is your face blurred in family photos?"

"Are you unreliable" "Do you take lots of days off just because you can't be assed?" "Are you disorganised?" "Are you terrible with money?"
"Do you like to travel and stay in sleazy hotels?"
Then we have just the job for you!
Advert in Romanian newspaper.

It went something like this...
Escort wanted
£140 an hour
Must be able to hold a good conversation
Be outgoing, well dressed etc..
Something along those lines.
I thought I was just going out drinking wine with guys, I had no idea what a escort was. Even when I went for interview I still didn't get much info.
Luckily for me my first job was a overnight with another girl and guy, She told me what was what and I fitted straight into the job and loved it.

Its going really well Lisa, Its very stressful at times but I really enjoy it. It really helps that we have been in the industry and we can relate to the ladies and the men.

Local wages were low in comparison with housing and living costs, I was fed up of not getting anywhere financially and was turned down for basic jobs.

I had had many male friends and thought why not get paid for it. I just thought I'd give it a go.

I also had a drinking problem I wanted to sort out for once and for all.

Going self-employed allowed me the flexibility to have a good income and do the things I wanted to do. I no longer drink, I've met and married a partner, and I now outright own part of a property. I've studied at post-graduate level, and currently hold 3 voluntary positions.

Excitement, flexible hours and the good pay for the hours I do plus the massive boost of putting a smile on someone's face absolutely make my day.

I got into it as I always knew that I would, had a fascination for as long as I can remember.

I was in a reasonable amount of debt after quitting my full time job to get back into studying and was working part time as a home carer where I had half hour calls at £3 odd and quit that shortly after starting my agency when I seen the huge difference in wage.

I watched Secret Diary of a call girl and thought I could do that, knew I would enjoy it. I was only 17 at the time, always loved sex, applied for an agency who told me I had to wait until I was 18 (at the time I didn't realise you had to be 18 to sex work even though the legal age to have sex is 16) ... so I waited, as soon as I turned 18 I was in touch with agency. Never looked back since, turn 22 in a few months and don't plan on stopping anytime soon, absolute love it... although I prefer being independent.

Hi Mandy, I don't know what your family circumstances are, but just wondered whether you discussed this at home? I only ask because I've seen a girl recently in her early twenties who said that she started when she was twenty or so after being made redundant and was determined not to go on benefits and actually discussed it with her mother before she started. I was certainly surprised; I couldn't imagine quite how the conversation would go if one of my daughters asked me what I thought! I assumed that perhaps mother might have done a similar thing, which is why she was so open-minded, but she says not. This meant that she has always been independent and has always worked on her own, and although she said it was initially quite difficult I know that she is really enjoying it now and as all her family know she has no fear of being outed.

I was having a ton of sex and kept being told jokingly "you know, you should charge for this..." So I took their advice ;) I love it, I find it turns me on even more than civvie sex because it's "naughty", and it means I can afford to buy nice things for myself which is great!

If only there was a market for 50+ year old bald guys; not bad nick physically, and very attentive to a woman's needs :(

More so in the past year i'd met men through a certain website for arrangements. I met a guy for dinner one evening he agreed to give me £400 to spend the night. Cheap now I see that but that was it.
After that escorting intrigued me I done my research and found adult work and there we go. I used to work my ass off doing nightshift while studying. Now i don't have to an my life is very good. I love what this has added to my life like I could never of imagined, I like to please and see guys leave happy.

Money and the fact I had a friend who did it. Had I not had a friend who did It I may not have gotten into it.

As time went on it was the flexibility of working when you want and being able to take time off when you want which became more of an incentive to stay in the job.

Now, the more I do this job the more I realise that money means nothing. Money can't buy your families health, love and happiness so it's definitely not money keeping me in the job but it's what money can do for you. For instance, this job has bought me my MA, my education (in a sense) and my travelling opportunities.

In mid-2014 I was made redundant after 25 years in quite a high-pressured professional role, the last 17 of which involved a 2.5h+ round trip commute. I thought 'Sod that for a lark' re. continuing to work in central London, which would have been tricky anyway as my job was quite specialised. I was also single, fed up of dating useless men met online, but like meeting new men and love sex, so it seemed ideal for me. It also means I can work from home and fit in my other freelance work (in my old business) around the handful of bookings I have a week. Win-win situation for me.

Poverty/crappy immigration system meant I couldn't get any help/homelessness. Thanks David Cameron. My aim was to pay taxes for five years and then apply for citizenship so I'd never have to worry about ending up with nothing again (or at least with the amount a Brit can get when they're absolutely at rock bottom). Now I'm not so sure.. I'm a fifth of my way there but I think they've removed this requirement. Anyway, I got my student loan a good few months in and kept doing this job anyway because I got a little too used to financial security, and I enjoy being my own boss. Now I am way too tied to the sex worker's rights movement to leave, for a while at least. So I guess an amalgamation of things made me stay - financial coercion (to some degree), citizenship eligibility, financial security, independence, and the sense of community that I've now found myself in. A lot has changed in a year and a couple of months. :)

Good luck with the sex worker's rights movement

Under UK immigration rules some 'highly skilled' non-EU workers (like doctors, engineers, scientists) are allowed into the UK under something called the Exceptional Talent Route. I think Escorts should be added to this list because, quite frankly, some of them are 'exceptionally talented' :drinks:
