The desert.

There are two kinds of deserts for punters that I know of. 1) you live in a part of the country where there are few if any wgs. 2) you go through a time where you simply cannot punt due to family commitments or funds. I have times where both deserts co exist !

So how do you cope, resort to online, get the old playboys out, and more importantly does being a member of a forum like UKE help you ?

Research!

I spend a lot of time in London without the opportunity to punt  so I research and plan ahead, so when the chance comes along I fill my boots
Also plan the long distance punts that need the day off work (got one planned for the run up to Christmas which will probably be my next punt)

My punting is pretty much restricted to my local area at the moment which isn't great for choice. I've found 3 decent wg's that offer everything I want so mainly stick to seeing them with the odd new wg if I see one I like the look of.

Thankfully Brum is pretty OK for WGs plus Coventry and Wolverhampton not too far away.
My deserts definitely occur due to work commitments.

Shropshire is a well known desert.
I've seen all the decent ones within a 30mile radius.
It's Wolves or Brum realistically.

As regards no punting funds, I tend to use Chaturbate, it's free and there's never any shortage of girls willing to get their kit off and more!!

Lincolnshire was a desert when I used to work up there thankfully I'm normally based in SW/SE and now have an occasional day trip to London with work - if I permanently resided in a punting desert region - I would have to bite the bullet and be prepared to drive a couple of hours

I can always locate good WGs, be that from UKP or punters I know, fortunately I live in London so there is a lot of choice available to me. When I am punting its a top priority to me so I find the time, being retired helps greatly with that. I am not punting at present but not due to either of the two points you have made, I don't feel like it though that could change as ever at any time, I am coming off the back of a very intensive year or so of punting at least 4 times a week often more.

I have the opposite problem being in Manchester. Loads of great Indies and parlours. The only restriction I have on cash is a self-imposed budget, which I'm just about sticking to this year. Resisting temptation is the real issue, although I've been much better in the last couple of months.

I live in East Anglia, so it is poor in terms of quality and availability it is always a challenge. I work in London so make the most of lunch breaks as constant "late nights" would be suspicious

Yoevil - I totally win!

The closest to me is Taunton, if I'm lucky, if not, Bristol. With Bristol, I have to take a day off, it's 1.5 hours drive, so I'd give myself 2 hours up and then back again.

I have family in Plymouth, so I visit them a fair amount, I can get a much better punt there, so I have to do some homework and then book well in advance. I've just made a booking while I'm in Plymouth in a couple of weeks.

Despite what the zealots on UKP might have you think, Glasgow is far from a desert. In the past year alone I have seen at least 10 girls I would quite happily return to and, certainly recently, have. In the last month alone I have seen two new girls and rebooked both of them; rekindled my relationship with another girl; and am looking forward to another first time meet. Saw a fantastic 'touring' girl, who seems to spend a hell of a lot of time in Glasgow, along with her duo pals who are also highly recommended.

Probably not the answer the OP was after but thought it had to be said, as our girls up north are doing a great job :rose::kiss:

My personal problem with London is trying to pick the great ones from the seeming never ending supply of uninterested EE girls.
That's why I really like UKE, there's some real gems on here:yahoo:

Newcastle is less than 30 minutes away; it's perfect both in terms of having some top SPs and being at enough of a remove to be confident of anonymity. If I fancy a change London is just over 2hrs on the train - benefits of living on the East Coast.

Sometimes I can't make the time however. Online is no substitute for a real life experience but I've always been into lots of different types of porn, so I am not going to go crazy in the short term.

When I travel with work to various sites there are two scenarios: Places that are a desert, and places that aren't but raise the concern of bumping into people I work with.

Agree, I'm very lucky being on the M4 corridor but generally avoid London (Just can't be arsed with public transport) I have a feeling that UKE will encourage me to spend much more "Quality" time in the capital. Might have to invest in an oyster card.

I never thought I'd say this, but the Central Line is looking good!
Already made one stop and hoping to make a second soon

I'm in the waste land category I live just outside Glasgow in Paisley ,it's all Romanian bait and switch looking profiles that surround mines a few oldies and a couple of Junkies so I can see why it's undesirable for punters to come into Paisley , I stay in a good area and I've got a brilliant flat it's not all bad we do have great areas .I was lucky enough to be brought up out with the housing estates here , now I'm established I get guys travelling from a few areas miles away from me so it's not affecting me.

Tbf Nicky, for the benefit of the rest of the guys I generalised the west of Scotland as Glasgow, but you're right, you are very much a shining star in Paisley  Haven't been tempted to go elsewhere in Paisley since a terrible punt in my early days, and there's nothing on AW to change my mind. :hi:

I always found East Midlands a punting desert as in the past I have had bad experiences. In my punting stint from April 2014 to October 2015, I have done 2 punts in East Midlands (Derby and Leicester, my hometown) that were shit. I did arrange a punt on Xmas Eve 2014 in Nottingham with Diamond In The Ruff which I had to cancel, and she just called me an 'Arsehole'. So I have no enthusiasm to punt in my home region.
