Discussion Sex workers to be surveyed on review of Irish prostitution laws

#2
Sex workers and other “stakeholders” involved in or associated with the sale of sex in Ireland are to be asked for their views on a review of Ireland’s prostitution law.

There will also be an online survey launched in the coming weeks as part of a public consultation process.

Isn't it interesting the law apparently aimed to make it easier for sex workers to go to the police to report crimes against them, why not simply decriminalise the sex work in the first place - no need to criminalise the sex buyers. :dash::thumbsdown:

Here's a link to the survey provided by the Irish Justice department to feed into the review of the disastrous and cruel Swedish model. As one Irish sex worker tweeted, "You don’t have to be a sex worker, you can be a concerned citizen appalled at how Magdalene nuns are still running the country".
