Punters wading into questions for escorts

A trend I've started to notice is that when someone posts a 'question for escorts', punters immediately start wading in and offering their views - look at the 'regular seeing other WGs' thread and you'll get the picture.

This forum is meant to be different from UKP, so should we not allow the escorts to answer first?

I checked this with admin and he said its fine to post on such threads.

I don't mean it's against the rules, but don't think it's always helpful as there are some strong views being expressed early on and it might discourage others. Agree we need more WGs on here to redress the balance
Your opinion is as valid as mine, I don't see it like you do but do agree more WGs are needed, but its early days yet of course. Personally I think its been a blinding start to a new site, very little aggro that I have seen so far.

Too many questions being asked tbh. Some are good ice breakers, others seem pointless. Still early days

If you dont like a thread then dont post in it.there will be many more that bore the tits off some.whats pointless to you is not to someone else.

So please dont discourage posting

I think it's fine for each other to respond in threads aimed at the opposite party so long as it's understood that ultimately no one shouts the other side down. We can respond on punter threads but not fully understand their feelings on a matter and the same goes for the guys, they can comment but they can't fully understand our feelings on a matter because we are are not in each other's shoes

I agree, too many pointless questions from guys, some of whom I would guess just want the attention of engaging in conversation with the girls. Fair enough, as it is part of the ethos of this site, but until more ladies get involved with active posting (well outside the NE, which does seem to be ahead of the game in this respect) I think it is a little optimistic to expect responses to be confined to these few girls, some of this energy would be better spent in encouraging more WGs to sign up - besides, I'm sure the few who do post also have some important work to be getting on with otherwise they'll have nothing to talk about.

When admin introduced the 'questions for....' I answered one for escorts then after posting, realised I had made a mistake and deleted my post. Then later, after a few wgs had answered, I thought what I had to say would be useful and then I posted.

So thats how I am handling it, allow a few wgs to respond and then respond to them if valid. I am sure it will always be thus.....

I have been thinking about this and while in principle questions can become trivial I don't think it is a good idea to put them off. Again I go back to admin's original idea that this site is welcoming to all except criminals and frauds. I certainly don't want have to decide if every question I ask is silly or not before I ask it. I certainly don't want new members to be reluctant to post because they think their question might be trivial. Let this site be truly embracing and if someone asks a silly question then maybe find a way to answer it in a meaningful fashion. That would be the greater challenge I think..... :hi:

I don't think my post discouraged anyone, although it's ironic you telling me not to post (even when I haven't). Without elevating this any further, my point was that a well thought out topic(s) is better than dozens of pointless questions that can get lost. It was an observation.

To be fair, I dont think there are many subjects that most of us have not already discussed on older forums, however its nice to discuss the with new people.

I totally agree that it's been a blindingly good start to the new site. I just hope the lack of aggro continues to be the norm.
Having "had a go" about folks bringing past disagreements and arguments over from UKP, it's good to see that you have brought your customary expertise and wisdom over with you too, Smiths1 :hi::drinks:

I quite agree. It may well be technically in accordance with the rules, and Admin have no objection, but if the Question is asked specifically of the ladies, then it is sheer bad manners not to wait until one or more of them have replied before the male punters pile in with their opinions.

Personally I will post as I see fit, its makes no odds too me if others think its bad manners, admin has clarified the point and that's good enough for me.

but you aint a mod so people can post bollocks if they like, don't read it then instead of whining about it, if its shite a mod will delete it if they feel the need..................2nd on the list :hi:

Have to agree with Rod in this case Sam, let Admin decide if questions are pointless. I have enjoyed all the questions so far and if this is the path then I think we will be OK. Not worried about the well thought out topics getting lost, the cream always rises to the top usually with loads of comments. Bad ones die quickly with few responses..... just enjoy

When the number grows then what you say is valid at present there are only a few who have joined. We need some younger ones to pitch in as well not just the ones who have been round the block a million times so to speak :drinks:

To be honest I dont see any of the threads on here as pointless even if they have been covered elsewhere. Some of us on here have chatted, argued, "met" online or even in person before, a lot of us though have not so really there are fresh perspectives for us all to hear even on a seemingly pointless subject. I guess if we dont want to discuss a subject again we can just move on to another thread.

So go ahead and post bollocks, and I will post my opinion. Why are you getting so uptight about an observation? I didn't claim to be a mod, and once again it's ironic since you seem to be trying to boss your opinion onto others. The only one whining about anything is you. Your aggressive behaviour is what will discourage posters and not an opinion. Take your own advice and pipe down.

One member has started 16 threads already, which is a third of his postings. They may not all be bollocks (indeed none of them may be) and could well be quite valid questions, but surely out of common courtesy give a thread a chance to run its course for a while before starting a few more. I don't mind prolific posters, but if you start too many threads within a short period of time it is likely to be interpreted as attention seeking behaviour (or like a kid in the candy shop - and no, it's not the member of the same name).
